1. The service

krutidevtounicode.net provides free online tools that convert Hindi text between the legacy KrutiDev 010 font encoding and Unicode, together with reference pages such as the keyboard chart. By using the website you agree to these terms.

2. Accuracy and no warranty

The converter follows the standard KrutiDev 010 character mapping and is tested on real Hindi sentences, but conversion between a legacy font and Unicode can never be guaranteed to be perfect. Rare symbols, custom characters and text typed in other legacy fonts (for example DevLys or Chanakya) may convert incorrectly.

The website and its tools are provided “as is”, without any warranty. Please proofread converted text before you use it for anything important, such as legal, official or printed material. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the tools or from errors in converted text.

3. Your text

Conversion runs in your own browser. The text you type, paste or open is not sent to or stored on our server. You are responsible for the content you convert and for having the right to use it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Fonts, names and trademarks

“Kruti Dev”, “DevLys”, “Mangal”, “Kokila”, “Nirmala UI” and other font and product names belong to their respective owners. They are used on this website only to describe which text formats the tools work with. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any font vendor.

The Kruti Dev 010 font is used on the converter pages only so that KrutiDev text can be displayed. We do not offer the font file for download; the Download page links to a government website that distributes it. Please check the licence terms of any font before using it commercially.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the website: do not attempt to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, or copy the site as a whole. Linking to any page is welcome.

6. Changes

We may change the tools, these terms or the website at any time. The current version is always on this page. Last updated: 3 October 2026.
